II Chronicles 17 (kjv)

17

And JehoshaphatH3092 his sonH1121 reignedH4427 in his stead, and strengthenedH2388 himself against IsraelH3478.2And he placedH5414 forcesH2428 in all the fencedH1219 citiesH5892 of JudahH3063, and setH5414 garrisonsH5333 in the landH776 of JudahH3063, and in the citiesH5892 of EphraimH669, which AsaH609 his fatherH1 had takenH3920.3And the LORDH3068 was with JehoshaphatH3092, because he walkedH1980 in the firstH7223 waysH1870 of his fatherH1 DavidH1732, and soughtH1875 not unto BaalimH1168;4But soughtH1875 to the LORD GodH430 of his fatherH1, and walkedH1980 in his commandmentsH4687, and not after the doingsH4639 of IsraelH3478.5Therefore the LORDH3068 stablishedH3559 the kingdomH4467 in his handH3027; and all JudahH3063 broughtH5414 to JehoshaphatH3092 presentsH4503; and he had richesH6239 and honourH3519 in abundanceH7230.6And his heartH3820 was lifted upH1361 in the waysH1870 of the LORDH3068: moreover he took awayH5493 the high placesH1116 and grovesH842 out of JudahH3063.

7Also in the thirdH7969 yearH8141 of his reignH4427 he sentH7971 to his princesH8269, even to BenhailH1134, and to ObadiahH5662, and to ZechariahH2148, and to NethaneelH5417, and to MichaiahH4322, to teachH3925 in the citiesH5892 of JudahH3063.8And with them he sent LevitesH3881, even ShemaiahH8098, and NethaniahH5418, and ZebadiahH2069, and AsahelH6214, and ShemiramothH8070, and JehonathanH3083, and AdonijahH138, and TobijahH2900, and TobadonijahH2899, LevitesH3881; and with them ElishamaH476 and JehoramH3088, priestsH3548.9And they taughtH3925 in JudahH3063, and had the bookH5612 of the lawH8451 of the LORDH3068 with them, and went aboutH5437 throughout all the citiesH5892 of JudahH3063, and taughtH3925 the peopleH5971.

10And the fearH6343 of the LORDH3068 fell upon all the kingdomsH4467 of the landsH776 that were round aboutH5439 JudahH3063, so that they made no warH3898 against JehoshaphatH3092.11Also some of the PhilistinesH6430 broughtH935 JehoshaphatH3092 presentsH4503, and tributeH4853 silverH3701; and the ArabiansH6163 broughtH935 him flocksH6629, sevenH7651 thousandH505 and sevenH7651 hundredH3967 ramsH352, and sevenH7651 thousandH505 and sevenH7651 hundredH3967 he goatsH8495.

12And JehoshaphatH3092 waxedH1980 greatH1432 exceedinglyH4605; and he builtH1129 in JudahH3063 castlesH1003, and citiesH5892 of storeH4543.13And he had muchH7227 businessH4399 in the citiesH5892 of JudahH3063: and the menH582 of warH4421, mighty menH1368 of valourH2428, were in JerusalemH3389.14And these are the numbersH6486 of them according to the houseH1004 of their fathersH1: Of JudahH3063, the captainsH8269 of thousandsH505; AdnahH5734 the chiefH8269, and with him mighty menH1368 of valourH2428 threeH7969 hundredH3967 thousandH505.15And nextH3027 to him was JehohananH3076 the captainH8269, and with him two hundredH3967 and fourscoreH8084 thousandH505.16And nextH3027 him was AmasiahH6007 the sonH1121 of ZichriH2147, who willingly offeredH5068 himself unto the LORDH3068; and with him two hundredH3967 thousandH505 mighty menH1368 of valourH2428.17And of BenjaminH1144; EliadaH450 a mighty manH1368 of valourH2428, and with him armed menH5401 with bowH7198 and shieldH4043 two hundredH3967 thousandH505.18And nextH3027 him was JehozabadH3075, and with him an hundredH3967 and fourscoreH8084 thousandH505 ready preparedH2502 for the warH6635.19These waitedH8334 on the kingH4428, beside those whom the kingH4428 putH5414 in the fencedH4013 citiesH5892 throughout all JudahH3063.
